San Lorenzo de Aburrá was the first indigenous pueblo in what would eventually turn into Medellín. It was erected in the modern day neighborhood of El Poblado in 1616.

This is the big airport in Rionegro (45-60 minute drive from Medellín).
OLAYA HERRERA AIRPORT:
This is the smaller airport located in the middle of Medellín. It has regional flights within Colombia.
TERMINAL DEL NORTE (North Terminal):
Located next to the Caribe Metro Station (yes- you can ride the metro to Caribe and then walk
directly into the Bus Terminal
Northbound Destinations: Bogotá, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Santa Marta,
Palomino, San Gil
TERMINAL DEL SUR (South Terminal):
5 min. drive from Poblado; 15 minute drive from Laureles.
